Our Story
Our estate was born in the 1980s from a simple passion for nature and the land, which over the years has led to a continuous structural and environmental evolution of our fields.
Thanks to the strength and the will to create a future for their children, the idea of Carlo Fanara was born. Thanks to him, over the years, we have managed to create what is now a vigorous pistachio grove, the beginning of an olive culture, and the creation of a new functional almond grove. This led to the birth of two new structures in Agrigento and Aragona, which are now the headquarters of our farm and our agritourism, restaurant, and B&B.

Our estate spans 40 hectares in the territories of Aragona and Agrigento in Sicily, a land that, thanks to its fertile soils and the help of its mild climate, has given life to some of the most prized cultivations in our region.
From the outset, we wanted to use organic methods, building an environment of biodiversity and hospitality. Initially, this was a challenging path, as at the time, there was not yet mature sensitivity towards organic foods, which is now an established reality
Today, our Olive Oil, in addition to being organic for years, is part of consortia that certify it as PGI and PDO in Sicily. The Pistachio, planted more than 30 years ago with the Neapolitan variety, is the same and unique as today's most well-known "Pistachio Di Bronte".
Our unique grape varieties include Biancolilla, typical of our territory. It is named for the fact that the drupe transitions from the light color of the unripe state (pea green) to the more vibrant (wine red) of maturity. It is a self-fertile variety that perfectly complements another cultivar present in our lands, the Nocellara del Belice, a very ancient variety. The oil produced has a flavor reminiscent of freshly cut grass, green tomatoes, and a hint of almonds, something truly unique and sought after.

Today, it is recognized in our estate as PDO by the Raffadali consortium, where only a few companies from our region in all of Sicily are part of it.
The almond, on the other hand, of the Tuono variety, has a sweet flavor but compared to all other almond varieties, it is less oil-rich.
